As autumn returns, the flowers of filial piety bloom once again in the hearts of all Buddhists. The Ullambana season gently reminds us to turn our hearts in gratitude toward the boundless kindness of our parents, ancestors, teachers, and all benevolent teachers who have guided and shaped our lives.

Ullambana is not only a time to remember those who have passed away, but also a precious opportunity to practice filial piety, repay kindness, repent past deeds, and sow wholesome seeds for the present and future.

Chanting & Prayer Schedule (August 16–22, 2026)

  • Time: 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM nightly

  • Details: Chanting of the Ullambana Sutra and the Sutra of the Great Repayment of Parents’ Profound Kindness, dedicating merits to ancestors and departed spirits.
